In 2016, the founder of ZeroIN, Dr. Ed Sosa learned that his wife had developed gestational diabetes and that the health of both his wife and unborn daughter was at risk. 

 

At that time, Dr. Sosa had just completed his Ph.D. in Health Science and wanted to find a way to help control his wife’s blood sugar levels. For the health of his wife and his unborn daughter, he began digging into existing research, knowing that there had to be a natural solution. Dr. Sosa started a journey to find the ultimate solution to the sugar overload problem.

 

 In the process to develop this solution Dr. Sosa found the design rules of sugar sweetness. This discovery allowed the design of a new category of ingredients that taste like sugar and deliver health benefits.
